Bousra Waterfall
About
Bousra Waterfall is the largest and most impressive waterfall in Mondulkiri province and one of the grandest natural water features in Cambodia, located about 38 kilometers east of Sen Monorom town on the road toward the Vietnamese border. The main fall drops in two powerful tiers over a wide basalt escarpment, with the upper tier measuring approximately 10 meters and the lower tier plunging a dramatic 25 meters into a broad pool below. The surrounding landscape is lush highland jungle characteristic of the Mondulkiri plateau, home to a variety of birds, butterflies, and plant species rarely seen in the lowlands. The site has a modest entrance and facilities area with food stalls and guides available for hire to explore the surrounding forest walks and secondary falls nearby.
