Dos Kromom Mountain
About
Dos Kromom Mountain is a prominent highland viewpoint rising above Sen Monorom town in Mondulkiri province, offering some of the most rewarding panoramic vistas in the Cambodian northeast. The forested hill is accessible by motorbike along a winding dirt track or on foot through pine and broadleaf woodland characteristic of the Mondulkiri plateau, a landscape strikingly different from Cambodia's lowland plains and jungles. The summit rewards visitors with sweeping views across rolling green hills, pine-covered ridgelines, and the patchwork of Bunong indigenous villages and farmland below. The cool highland climate at elevation makes the walk comfortable even in the dry season. A small shrine near the top is maintained by local Bunong communities who regard the mountain as a spiritually significant place in their ancestral land.
